We were relieved to see the news yesterday that Pres. Biden signed an Executive Order that should counter the harmful "Don't Say Gay" law here in Florida -- which would hurt Florida kids and teachers thru censorship and book banning. We want to empower Florida teachers and parents to access the very best picture books for ages 3 to 10 on the important topics of gender identity, gender expression, same-sex parents, etc. Here we feature our curation "5 Best Picture Books About Gender Identity." These amazing books tell the real-life (or close to real-life) stories of trans boys and girls, what they have experienced and how they have successfully coped -- all children and adults will relate to their perseverance and resilience, and learn from them. In this colorful and inspiring book, United States Senator @kirstengillibrand writes about ten important women who helped forge a path towards voting rights for women. There is a different entry for each of the women which provides a short biography and explains her contribution to the Women’s Rights movement. This makes the book an excellent introduction to the history of the movement and the fight for women’s rights. Illustrations by @mairakalman , Published by @knopfkids #vote
