Best Kids’ Books Seeks Librarians and Teachers as New Partners
Best Kids’ Books — a new website launched to promote quality children’s books — seeks several teachers or librarians to partner with the founder in the next stages of development of the site.
We are seeking partners who share our progressive values and love of high quality children’s books, as well as our belief that books can make a difference in children’s lives. We have designed a visually striking website and curated close to 1,000 books that are featured on the site. Now, our plan is to promote this content in order to build a substantial online audience. We hope to secure partnerships with like-minded individuals to reach this goal.
We are looking for prolific writers, as the work will center on writing blog posts to highlight and promote featured books, authors and illustrators. Potential partners should be interested in sharing their deep knowledge of children’s literature, especially picture books, with a wide audience. Other work may involve reaching out to media and other sites to carry posts, editing other writers’ work, posting on social media, introducing new selections to our collection of books and other promotional tasks.
We plan to split proceeds with any new partners during the period of joint involvement, so group effort and success will determine the level of compensation. We plan to mutually agree on a minimum and maximum number of hours to each dedicate to the work per month. For more information on our mission and values, please see BestKidsBooks.com.
If interested, please send a resume and cover letter to Katherine Hubbard, Founder of BKB, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
