Vivienne is a girl trying to find her home in a new place and a new school. When her teacher challenges the class to help solve a problem, Vivienne is excited to jump in and decides to try to help the baby loggerhead sea turtles that are nesting on the beach. Vivienne and her new friends work together to convince everyone in the community to turn off their lights, so that the sea turtles can follow the moon to the sea. In addition to its inspiring story, we also love this book for its stunning illustrations, which perfectly capture the beauty of the natural world.
