Written in both English and Spanish, this picture book biography tells the story of Sonia Sotomayor, who overcame many obstacles to  become the first Latino judge on the United States Supreme Court. Growing up Sonia did not have much materially, but she had a supportive family and a love of learning, and this started her on a path to success. Young readers will be inspired by her story, as well as the colorful illustrations that perfectly capture Sotomayor’s childhood.
