Lemony Snicket is famous for his Series of Unfortunate Events, a book series full of dark humor. He brings a tiny bit of that humor to this book, about a boy who’s trying to conquer his fear of the dark. Some children will relate easily to this character, who feels like darkness is lurking around every corner. Curator’s note: The dark is portrayed as a living character in this book, and may be more suited to children who aren’t sensitive to such things.
