From Our Collection

After having some personal experiences with refugees, this author created what they call a collage of experiences, telling the stories of what happened to initiate the decision to immigrate through each immigrant’s own beautiful artwork and simple relatable text. Although child-appropriate, these are honest portrayals of the dark and bleak circumstances that prompted them to leave their homes, and consideration should be taken before reading to very young or sensitive children.
